Partners In Golf Course Design, Development, & Land Planning

Bartell Design—Partners in Golf Course Design, Development and Land Planning, is guided by founder Brad Bartell out of their Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Cave Creek, Arizona offices. First established in South Carolina in 1996, Bartell Design expanded to Arizona in the year 2000. Bartell Design, LLC answers the call for combining creative playability and aesthetic appeal with cost-conscious golf course design and construction. Bartell takes projects from initial concept through design and construction, all the way to the ribbon cutting on opening day. Creating exceptional, playable golf courses with solid revenue-generating potential is the goal of Bartell Design, LLC.

Having built  a successful career as a golf course architect, Bartell has worked on over 40 new golf course designs and over 50 golf course redesigns throughout the world. Blending a passion for the game with an environmentally aware design, results in aesthetically beautiful golf courses that bring the thinking process back into the game.

Bartell is a past PGA Tour player, and while spanning his

25-plus year career as a golf course architect, he has collaborated individually with PGA Tour professionals Fuzzy Zoeller, Gary Player, Hale Irwin, John Daly and Dan Pohl, resulting in numerous successful design relationships and outstanding golf facilities. Bartell has also worked with such notable golf course architects as Clyde Johnston, Jerry Matthews and Dick Nugent.

Bartell Design also provides land planning and landscape architecture services. With a skilled understanding of the delicate balance between golf course design and other land uses, Bartell has built a successful record of combining design with land planning on the majority of his projects.
